Enterprise Architect - Federal VA
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect - Federal VA, the full-time remote position will manage architecture development for financial systems and healthcare claims processing, focusing on enterprise integration and cloud modernization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and document cloud architecture diagrams, legacy architecture, and infrastructure specifications
- Work directly with engineers and technical teams to translate architecture into implementable solutions
- Conduct architecture assessments and document technical alternatives, risks, costs, and implementation considerations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- Approximately 15 years of overall IT/technology experience, with 3-5 years in hands-on Enterprise Architecture
- Recent experience in developing cloud architecture and legacy modernization architectures
- Demonstrated experience with financial processing and healthcare claims environments, particularly within Federal Government contexts
- Experience with X12 and HL7 in healthcare/financial transaction environments
