Enterprise Cloud Architect
Job Summary
Serving as the overall technical authority for a large enterprise-scale Application Hosting program, the remote Enterprise Cloud / VAEC Architect Lead will develop and govern end-to-end technical solutions across various environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-efficient services.
Key responsibilities
- Own the integrated technical solution across all Application Hosting task areas and lead architecture reviews for various cloud and on-premises solutions
- Develop and maintain target-state architecture, technical roadmaps, and engineering standards while integrating the work of multiple architecture disciplines
- Mentor solution architects and technical leads, translating complex architecture concepts into clear recommendations for executives and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in cloud architecture, specifically with AWS and Azure environments
- Strong background in application hosting, enterprise storage, and containerization technologies
- Expertise in developing architecture decision records and modernization roadmaps
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and observability practices
- Ability to lead technical discussions and present complex concepts to diverse audiences
