Enterprise Credit Analyst

Job Summary

Underwriting and reviewing merchant applications for credit card payment processing, the full-time Enterprise Credit Analyst will conduct financial analysis, provide recommendations, and support sales partners in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Underwrite and review new, auto-approved, and graduated merchant submissions for credit card processing services
• Make verbal and written recommendations to management aligned with risk appetite and provide support for accounts that are pended, declined, or withdrawn
• Conduct financial analysis and develop creative risk mitigation strategies for high-risk merchant submissions while training and guiding team members

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum five years of commercial underwriting or risk mitigation experience in the bank card/merchant payment processing industry
• Two years of financial analysis experience with writing assessments
• Proven ability to make authoritative underwriting decisions and manage interactions with sales partners and merchants
• Flexibility to adapt priorities during peak periods to maintain service levels
