Enterprise Data Governance Lead

Job Summary

To build and scale enterprise data governance capabilities, the remote contract Enterprise Data Governance Lead will manage high-priority projects, act as a Subject Matter Expert, and oversee the onboarding of business domains into a federated data governance model.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for enterprise data governance and stewardship, contributing to operating models, policies, and procedures
• Lead business domain onboarding into the federated data governance model, including training and adoption of governance workflows
• Manage data governance projects, focusing on an enterprise data classification and tagging initiative aligned with the DOJ Data Security Rule

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience in data governance or enterprise data management
• Proven experience with enterprise data governance platforms such as Informatica IDMC/CDGC, Alation, or Atlan
• Strong ability to drive process adoption and influence stakeholders in a matrixed organization
