Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of infrastructure architecture strategies, the remote contract-to-hire Enterprise Infrastructure Architect will partner with cross-functional teams to drive modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption and automation, while establishing governance and standards for scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise infrastructure architecture strategy, including current-state assessment and future-state roadmap
• Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives to enhance scalability, performance, and operational efficiency
• Provide architectural oversight for major technology investments, ensuring alignment with business value and risk management

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure domains, including cloud, hybrid, networking, compute, storage, and security
• Proven ability to translate strategy into architecture standards and scalable solutions
• Experience with cloud and hybrid architectures focused on scalability and cost optimization
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Technical certification or experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
