Job Summary

Working fully remotely, the part-time Entitlement Specialist will assist members in accessing Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare insurance, as well as other State and Federal entitlement benefits, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist members in navigating and applying for various entitlement benefits, including Medicaid and Social Security Disability
  • Collaborate with the Member Financial team to communicate new insurance eligibility and support yearly redetermination processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and provide cross-state coverage support as needed
Required qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher, preferably in social or human services
  • One year of experience assisting with insurance or federal benefit applications, or willingness to undergo extended training
  • One year of experience in a social service or behavioral health setting strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of State and Federal benefits and eligibility guidelines
  • Access to reliable internet and telephone services suitable for remote work
