Entry-Level Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an entry-level Accountant to support financial and tax-related operations in a health insurance organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day banking support activities and process payment-related referrals
• Assist senior accounting staff in investigating account variances and resolving financial discrepancies
• Review quarterly tax-related files and support the preparation of 941 and 1099 data files

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in supporting detailed financial processes
• At least 2 years of experience in researching and resolving financial discrepancies
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and routine reconciliation methods
• Familiarity with tax documentation such as W-2s and 1099s
• Experience using ADP
