Entry-Level Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Analyst I.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop actionable recommendations and perform profitability calculations for business segments
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc analyses to identify efficiency and affordability opportunities
• Participate in cross-functional teams and prepare monthly IBNR reserve calculations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or a related field
• Preferred experience with databases (SAS or Access) and in managed care or healthcare
• Minimum of one exam passed under the Society of Actuaries Exam Syllabus
• Active pursuit of an actuarial designation (ASA) is required
