Entry Level Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

To provide technical and analytical support, the temp-to-hire Entry Level Actuarial Analyst will work from home, assisting in the development and maintenance of spreadsheet and database tools for actuarial processes while conducting research and contributing to special projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a foundational understanding of actuarial concepts and related business processes
• Create and enhance tools to manage, analyze, and report actuarial data
• Research and analyze information to resolve calculation discrepancies and support special projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Experience in statistical or data analysis, preferably in life insurance
• Knowledge of Life Insurance products, with a preference for experience with Indexed Universal Life
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Visual Basic and Macros
• Strong systems aptitude with the ability to work efficiently with large data sets
