Entry Level Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

To provide technical and analytical support to internal and external stakeholders, the temp-to-hire Entry Level Actuarial Analyst will work from home, assisting in the development and maintenance of spreadsheet and database tools for actuarial processes while conducting data analysis and generating reports.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a foundational understanding of actuarial concepts and related business processes
• Create and enhance spreadsheet and database tools for managing and analyzing actuarial data
• Gather, organize, and prepare data while ensuring accuracy through calculations and reasonableness checks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Experience in statistical or data analysis, preferably within the life insurance sector
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Visual Basic and Macros
• Strong systems aptitude with the ability to work efficiently with large data sets
• Knowledge of Life Insurance products preferred, with experience in Indexed Universal Life as a plus
