Entry-Level Construction Technician

Job Summary

Assisting with field and laboratory testing of construction materials, the full-time Entry-Level Construction Technician will perform observations and inspections, communicate findings to project managers, and maintain equipment in the greater Fox Valley area.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials under supervision
• Document findings and communicate results to the Project Manager for accuracy and reporting
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety standards while performing pre-task planning and reporting safety concerns

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of relevant experience (preferred)
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history may be required
• Obtain ACI certification within 6 months to 1 year
• Successful completion of related internal safety certifications
