Entry Level Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer - Entry Level.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest and enrich healthcare data using Databricks and Spark
• Improve data intake processes and optimize SparkSQL/Python workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Partner with senior engineers to develop data marts and semantic models that power analytics products and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one scripting/programming language (Python preferred)
• Understanding of relational databases, data pipelines, and data engineering best practices
• Strong curiosity and ownership mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively within technical teams
