Entry-Level Editor

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic agency, the entry-level Editor will work remotely to perform copyediting, fact-checking, and proofreading of promotional and medical communications materials while adhering to established style guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Copyedit materials for consistency and adherence to grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines
• Fact-check information against source materials to ensure accuracy and validate reference lists
• Proofread approved copy and evaluate layouts for spacing and formatting issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or health sciences
• 1-2 years of editorial experience preferred, with a focus on healthcare marketing or pharmaceutical advertising a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to learn and apply style guides, with familiarity in American Medical Association style preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
