Entry-Level GIS Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Geospatial Technician, Entry-Level.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain GIS data using ESRI and custom GIS software
• Evaluate, edit, and check various data layers, including street centerlines and hydrography
• Maintain daily production schedules and work with customized data automation tools

Required Qualifications and Education

• Certificate in GIS or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Internships in GIS are a plus
• Experience with ArcGIS software and related tools
• Some knowledge of civil engineering, cartography, surveying, and drafting
• Must be a US Citizen
