Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Technician, Entry Level.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain GIS data using ESRI and custom GIS software
Evaluate, edit, and check various data layers, including street centerlines and hydrography
Maintain daily production schedules and work with customized data automation tools

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

US Citizenship and residency in the Maryland/Virginia/DC area
Certificate in Cartography or GIS, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Geography or GIS
Internship experience is a plus
Familiarity with ArcGIS and related software
Ability to pass a government background investigation for a Public Trust
