Entry-Level Healthcare Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support various CMS data projects, the remote long-term contract Entry-Level Healthcare Data Analyst will analyze data trends, develop presentations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Trend data to identify opportunities for quality improvement and focused investigations
• Analyze data and summarize findings into quality indicator values for reporting
• Develop tabular and graphical presentations of data to illustrate current levels of care

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on SAS or other statistical programming experience
• 6 months of experience with health-related analytic research and quality improvement methodologies preferred
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Federal Public Trust Background Check
• Experience with Medicare or Medicaid data is a plus
