Entry-Level In-House Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an In House Counsel to support a growing healthcare-focused software organization in a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate various business agreements
• Oversee agreements throughout the full contract process and monitor important dates
• Research legal and regulatory issues affecting the organization, particularly in healthcare and privacy

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• At least 1 year of relevant legal experience, preferably in commercial contracting
• Knowledge of commercial law principles and interest in healthcare and data privacy issues
• Interest in moving into an in-house legal role within a technology-driven organization
• Organized approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote work environment
