Entry Level PRA Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the development of next-generation advanced nuclear reactor technology, the remote Entry Level PRA Engineer will manage probabilistic risk assessments, severe accident analysis, and safety evaluations while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams on a long-term contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal and external Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) activities and develop PRA models
• Perform risk integration studies and collaborate with engineering teams to establish safety and performance requirements
• Prepare technical documentation and present findings to project teams and regulatory organizations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
• One or more years of Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) experience
• Understanding of PRA principles and familiarity with ASME/ANS PRA standards
• Experience with PRA software such as CAFTA, FRANX, SAPHIRE, or RiskSpectrum
• Ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary engineering teams
