Entry-Level Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the FinTech engineering team by learning the platform and codebase
• Help build new product features that support financial workflows for schools and families
• Improve and maintain front-end applications and Ruby on Rails back-end services

Required Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Vue.js (or similar modern frameworks)
• Understanding of basic debugging, data flow, and full-stack application concepts
• Interest in using AI coding tools to learn and improve productivity
• Basic experience with relational databases and SQL queries
• Experience with Git/GitHub or similar version control systems
