Job Summary

Providing essential language support, the remote contracted Entry Level Spanish Interpreter will deliver consecutive interpretation services during various over-the-phone situations, ensuring clear communication between speakers of different languages.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, and interviews
• Listen to the speaker in the source language and accurately convey the message in the target language
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the interpretation process

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages)
• Proof of English language proficiency with a "technical proficiency" on the national ILR rating or equivalent
• Completion of Mock Call assessment with a passing score
• Updated resume showing relevant interpretation experience
• Technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments (headset, stable internet, laptop)
