Entry-Level Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules for prepaid expenses and fixed assets, and prepare related journal entries
• Support the preparation of financial reports and analyze financial data for stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of accounting policies and assist in improving internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0-4 years of relevant experience, including internships and coursework
• Familiarity with general ledger systems and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Workday or similar ERP systems is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
