Entry Level Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Underwriter - Entry Level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize established rating models to rate groups insured by the Health Plan
• Assess financial impacts of benefit plan changes using pricing models
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement them in risk assessment processes

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related area
• Strong preference for advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables)
• Strong preference for a degree in Math, Finance, or Actuarial Science
• Competency in mathematics/statistics
• Basic computer skills
