Environment Management Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic technology team, the remote Environment Management Engineer will maintain and support development and QA environments for mission-critical financial applications, providing operational support and collaborating with application teams.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver L1/L2 operational support for DEV, QA, and QAP environments to ensure seamless application performance
- Respond to incidents and service requests, executing standard operational tasks and performing routine health checks
- Collaborate with application teams during software testing and deployments, maintaining accurate ticket documentation and environment records
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in infrastructure or environment support roles
- Solid understanding of incident and request management processes
- Eagerness to learn new middleware, monitoring, and automation technologies
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, WebSphere, Tomcat, Shell scripting, and Putty
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
