Environmental Consultation Support

Job Summary

A company is looking for a ESA Section 7 Consultation Support specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Federal staff in conducting analyses and research for ESA Section 7 consultations
• Provide technical assistance to Federal action agencies during ESA consultations
• Analyze scientific literature and agency documents to assess impacts on protected species and develop mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field and one year of relevant experience
• Experience in environmental regulations and the Federal regulatory process or related fields
• Preferred experience in infrastructure, fisheries, offshore wind, acoustics, or related areas
• Knowledge of Section 7 of the ESA
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
