Job Summary
To support the company's commitment to environmental compliance and workplace safety, the full-time Environmental Health and Safety Manager will oversee EHS management across facility operations, ensuring adherence to regulations while fostering a safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with EPA, OSHA, and local regulations, developing and maintaining relevant policies and procedures
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs, conducting audits and training to promote workplace safety
- Serve as the primary EHS liaison for construction projects, ensuring safe project delivery and environmental controls are maintained
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHST, or OHST are highly desirable
- 8-12 years of experience in EHS management, with at least 3 years in construction or commissioning projects
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations
- Experience managing contractor safety and environmental compliance on large-scale projects
