Job Summary

A company is looking for an Environmental Health Subject Matter Expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter authority on environmental health licensing, permitting, and inspection programs
• Define and validate licensing workflows, permitting processes, and inspection protocols for software implementations
• Guide solutions analysts and developers to ensure features align with environmental health practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in environmental health with direct responsibility for licensing, permitting, or inspection programs
• Hands-on experience with processing licenses, managing permits, and conducting inspections
• Participation in at least one enterprise IT implementation or major system rollout in a government setting
• Deep understanding of inspection workflows and environmental health reporting requirements
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and adaptability in dynamic environments
