Job Summary
Owning the systems and processes for greenhouse gas accounting, the full-time remote Environmental Inventory Manager will ensure the accuracy and credibility of GE Vernova's GHG emissions inventory while supporting regulatory compliance and sustainability commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the annual GHG inventory and develop internal policies governing greenhouse gas accounting across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions
- Collect, analyze, and manage environmental data to drive data quality and continuous improvement in sustainability reporting
- Contribute to mandatory and voluntary reporting submissions, including the Carbon Disclosure Project and annual Sustainability Report
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent professional experience
- Considerable experience in carbon management and corporate-level emissions accounting
- Demonstrated expertise in the GHG Protocol and familiarity with SEC climate disclosure rules and CSRD
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
