Job Summary
To support data center development projects, the full-time temporary Data Center Environmental Permitting Program Manager will manage environmental permitting, coordinate risk assessments, and lead regulatory compliance efforts while working remotely in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Manage environmental permitting, approvals, and due diligence activities for data center development projects
- Coordinate environmental risk assessments and remediation planning for various site types
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track permit timelines and ensure environmental compliance readiness
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in environmental permitting, compliance, due diligence, or project management
- At least 5 years managing environmental permits and regulatory approvals across the Americas
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and programs, including site assessments and air quality permitting
- Experience managing consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary teams for complex projects
