Job Summary
Supporting a portfolio of large-scale project developments, the part-time Environmental Regulatory Attorney will serve as a strategic advisor to project teams, focusing on environmental permitting, agency engagement, and regulatory risk management in a remote capacity with occasional travel.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on environmental permitting and regulatory matters for complex industrial and infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with technical experts to navigate environmental reviews and agency engagements
- Develop practical solutions for challenging permitting issues associated with large-scale project development
Required qualifications
- Significant experience in environmental permitting and regulatory matters
- Familiarity with NEPA, Army Corps of Engineers permitting, and Section 404 matters
- Knowledge of U.S. Fish & Wildlife issues and Endangered Species Act considerations
- Experience with environmental review processes related to large-scale projects
- Ability to work approximately 30 hours per month with flexibility based on project activity
