Environmental Reporting QC Specialist

Job Summary

As a full-time Environmental Reporting QC Specialist, the successful candidate will be responsible for accurately calculating and validating stack testing results, preparing technical documents, and ensuring data quality and compliance with established standards in a remote or onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write and assemble technical documents such as test protocols and reports, adhering to style guides and SOPs
• Independently calculate test results using spreadsheets and handwritten records while resolving anomalies in data
• Review and mentor junior staff, contributing to the development of content and standard procedures within the reporting group

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or related field preferred; high school diploma acceptable with demonstrated skills
• 3+ years of technical writing experience
• 3+ years of experience with air test methods, permits, and regulatory requirements
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word) and cloud-based platforms
• Field testing experience is beneficial
