Environmental Safety Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting factory operations, the full-time remote Environmental Safety Specialist will focus 60% on environmental compliance and 40% on safety and health, driving the implementation of corporate standards and providing technical expertise to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a corporate contact for safety, health, and environmental compliance, guiding sites on related policies and procedures
• Support the integration of environmental and safety risk assessments, partnering with operations to maintain compliance and identify needs
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems across sites

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance or a related SH&E function in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of applicable EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
• Professional certification in environmental, safety, or industrial hygiene disciplines is preferred
