Environmental Stewardship Lead

Job Summary

The full-time Environmental Stewardship Lead will design and implement community-aligned environmental programs, oversee environmental diligence and risk assessments, and manage compliance during construction and operations in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver environmental programs that enhance permitting outcomes and build local trust
• Lead environmental diligence and risk assessments across prospective sites, translating findings into actionable development decisions
• Establish and enforce environmental and community standards across various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in environmental permitting, infrastructure development, or large-scale project delivery
• Experience managing environmental consultants and navigating complex regulatory frameworks
• Proven ability to translate environmental risks into financial and reputational strategies
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while balancing stewardship and infrastructure delivery
