Environmental Studies Online Adjunct Faculty Member

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Adjunct Faculty in Environmental Studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in the environmental professional core curriculum for online baccalaureate programs
• Deliver courses asynchronously online for five weeks in eight terms throughout the year
• Design and develop curriculum for courses such as Ecoliteracy, Environmental Issues, Environmental Justice, Ethical Decision-Making, and Transformational Leadership

Required Qualifications:

• Terminal degree (e.g. PhD, JD) in the discipline or a master's degree with ample experience in an environmental profession
• Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas
• Efficient operation of a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the university
