Environmental Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Environmental Subject Matter Expert, this full-time remote position involves providing environmental expertise to DoD installations, conducting studies, and ensuring compliance with NEPA and other regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental studies and analyses in support of DoD installations
• Lead or support NEPA analysis including categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, and environmental impact statements
• Prepare regulatory documentation and ensure compliance with environmental laws and DoD policies

Required Qualifications

• Experience conducting NEPA analyses at the EA or EIS level
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
• Experience supporting DoD installations or other federal agencies preferred
• Ability to obtain a favorable NACI background investigation
• IAT Level I professional certification
