Environmental Sustainability Procurement Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Procurement Global Category Manager specializing in Environmental Sustainability and Renewable Energy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global procurement strategy for renewable energy aligned with sustainability goals
• Lead supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and establish Supplier Relationship Management programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sustainability initiatives and monitor procurement KPIs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Degree in life sciences, business, engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of strategic and operational procurement experience, preferably in a regulated industry
• Experience in environmental compliance and EHS risk management
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
• Industry certifications such as CIPS or Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP) are preferred
