Environmental Technical Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Specialist - Environmental (Retainer).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter advice on plastic recycling and related aspects within the plastic value chain
• Support the National Technical Expert in conducting plastic value chain assessments in target municipalities
• Guide capacity development activities for local civil society organizations and private companies involved in the plastic value chain

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in waste management, plastic recycling technology, circular economy, or environmental management
• 5 years of experience in municipal waste management, plastic recycling, or environmental management
• Solid knowledge of waste management and recycling processes, particularly related to plastic waste
• Knowledge of plastic recycling technologies and processes
• Fluency in English; basic knowledge of Arabic is preferred
