Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Environmental Underwriter Trainee will engage in risk assessment, review environmental reports, and collaborate with senior underwriters in a hybrid work environment across Exton, PA, Boston, MA, or New York City.
Key responsibilities
- Participates in risk selection, pricing, retention, and profitability activities as per divisional objectives
- Reviews and interprets environmental reports and technical documents to assess risk quality
- Collaborates with the underwriting team to develop business relationships and learn pricing and coverage analysis
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with an environmental focus
- 0-2 years of insurance or environmental consulting experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and technology
- Recent graduates or early-career environmental professionals are encouraged to apply
