E&O Underwriting AVP

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP Underwriting - E&O Media.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and analyze submissions to determine risk classification and appropriate underwriting terms
• Execute Media and MPL E&O business plans while ensuring compliance with underwriting standards
• Build and maintain relationships with broker partners and provide accurate customer service on policy transactions

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the E&O marketplace, specifically in Media and MPL
• Strong knowledge of E&O underwriting practices and the professional liability market
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of insurance company operations and policy wordings
• Ability to manuscript policy language and knowledge of targeted industries
