EPC Cost Estimator

Job Summary

To support project estimation efforts, the contract EPC Cost Estimator will prepare complete estimates for medium-sized projects, utilizing industry standards and software tools while working remotely from Jackson, MI.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete estimates for assigned projects, coordinating the total estimating effort relevant to specific bids
• Develop pricing and perform quantity takeoffs using estimating software and industry guidelines
• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimates

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction cost estimating experience
• Knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control across various disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Pipeline, Storage, M&R)
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems
• EST certification preferred, with core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM
