EPC Cost Estimator
Job Summary
To support project estimation efforts, the contract EPC Cost Estimator will prepare complete estimates for medium-sized projects, utilizing industry standards and software tools, while working remotely from Jackson, MI.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare complete estimates for assigned projects of medium size and complexity
- Develop pricing using industry standard guidelines and perform quantity takeoffs
- Coordinate the total estimating effort for specific bids/projects and maintain documentation for estimates
Required qualifications
- 1-2 years of construction cost estimating experience
- Knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control across various disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Pipeline, Storage, M&R)
- Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Familiarity with cost estimating software and systems
- Availability during core hours of 9 AM to 3 PM is preferred
