EPC Cost Estimator
Job Summary
Remote and contract-based, the EPC Cost Estimator will leverage 1-2+ years of construction estimating experience to prepare complete project estimates, analyze specifications, and interface with various stakeholders to ensure project feasibility.
Key responsibilities
- Develop complete discipline estimates and quantity takeoffs for medium-complexity projects using industry standard guidelines and estimating software
- Analyze proposal specifications, engineering drawings, and project documents to define scope of work, WBS structures, and bidding requirements
- Calculate complete takeoffs across material, labor, and equipment, applying standard markup, contingency percentages, and industry cost database metrics
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 1-2+ years of construction estimating experience
- Proficiency in estimating software and industry standard guidelines
- Experience in documentation control
- Ability to interface with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors
