Epic Ambulatory Analyst

Job Summary

To support the day-to-day health of the EpicCare Ambulatory application, the full-time remote Epic Ambulatory Analyst will diagnose issues, build and test changes, and contribute to project and upgrade work while collaborating with a close-knit team to enhance patient access to care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose reported issues by analyzing workflows and data to identify root causes and underlying business needs
• Gather and document requirements through stakeholder conversations, translating business needs into clear, testable requirements
• Build, test, and validate changes to EpicCare Ambulatory, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation of build decisions and results

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in analyst work focused on problem solving, requirements gathering, testing, and solution implementation, ideally within Epic
• Active Epic Ambulatory certification required at time of hire
• Well-rounded experience across ambulatory workflows rather than a single specialty
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate root causes and recommend solutions
• Proficiency in documenting requirements and system changes clearly for diverse audiences
