Epic Analyst III - Blood Bank

Job Summary

Combining expertise in Blood Bank operations with broad Epic Beaker CP capabilities, the full-time Epic Analyst III - Blood Bank will manage clinical pathology applications, interfaces, and middleware while supporting laboratory instrumentation and enterprise initiatives in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently troubleshoot and support Blood Bank applications, interfaces, and middleware across the complete technical workflow
• Manage complex production issues and lead implementation and optimization work for clinical pathology and blood bank applications
• Participate in production support, upgrades, validations, and enterprise laboratory projects, focusing primarily on Blood Bank

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, engineering, or equivalent related experience
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in clinical, business, or healthcare operational areas, or 7 years without a degree
• Ability to obtain the appropriate Epic certification within the first 90 days of training if not already certified
• Working knowledge and subject matter expertise in assigned operational department areas
• Hands-on experience with Blood Bank Informatics and Epic Beaker CP is highly desirable
