Epic Analyst III - Blood Bank

Job Summary

Combining expertise in Blood Bank operations with technical proficiency in Epic Beaker CP, the full-time Epic Analyst III - Blood Bank will manage clinical pathology applications, support interfaces and middleware, and lead production optimization and implementation efforts in a remote capacity for candidates residing in specific states.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support and troubleshooting for Blood Bank applications, middleware, and laboratory instrumentation, ensuring seamless integration with Epic Beaker CP
• Independently manage complex production issues and lead initiatives for system upgrades and optimizations across Clinical Pathology
• Participate in enterprise laboratory projects and validation processes, with a focus on Blood Bank as the primary specialty

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, engineering, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in clinical or healthcare operational areas, or 7 years of relevant experience without a degree
• Ability to obtain the appropriate Epic certification within 90 days of training, if not already certified
• Demonstrated knowledge in Blood Bank Informatics and related systems
• Experience with HL7, data integration, and laboratory system implementations
