Epic Application Analyst
Job Summary
To provide Epic application expertise to managed services and consulting clients, the full-time remote Advisory Epic Application Analyst will configure, optimize, troubleshoot, and support Epic applications while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance healthcare workflows and ensure system compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assess client needs and recommend solutions to optimize Epic application functionality and compliance
- Document business requirements, configure and validate application modifications, and provide ongoing support and issue resolution
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage expectations, track decisions, and facilitate seamless transitions during system upgrades
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, healthcare-related certification, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience as an Epic application analyst or in Epic consulting
- Epic Compass Rose Certification required, with additional certifications in Epic Healthy Planet and Epic Ambulatory preferred
- Expert knowledge of healthcare workflows, clinical and business operations, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects or clients simultaneously
