Epic Applications Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Applications Analyst, Staff- Epic Inpatient Orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and performs system builds to meet customer needs and conducts feasibility studies for system solutions
• Writes system and configuration specifications, prepares technical documentation, and performs troubleshooting on application issues
• Assists with system upgrades and improvements, leads design sessions, and ensures adherence to system standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in business, health informatics, or computer science
• 3 years of related experience, including 1 year of direct IT application experience
• Broad knowledge of system development life cycle and application development
• Understanding of workflow in central application areas and interactions between application subspecialties
