Epic Applications Specialist

Job Summary

Leading multiple projects in a full-time remote capacity, the Epic Applications Specialist will manage critical incidents, share knowledge with team members, and optimize workflows within clinical and business information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a key member in critical incident management, providing expert guidance during high-impact situations
• Lead and coordinate projects, ensuring effective planning and resource allocation while managing project outcomes
• Investigate and resolve application and system configuration issues, collaborating with vendors for proper installation and troubleshooting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7 years of experience with enterprise platforms (EHRs/ITSM/ERPs)
• Epic/Workday/Application certification(s) and Lean Green Belt certification or ability to achieve
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and advise less experienced team members
