Epic Beaker Analyst

Job Summary

To support a comprehensive laboratory system transformation, the remote contract Epic Beaker Analyst will design, build, validate, and optimize a new laboratory ecosystem, focusing on Epic Beaker implementation and integration while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement laboratory workflows, ensuring successful integration of Epic Beaker and migration from legacy systems
• Collaborate with legacy LIS teams and laboratory operational stakeholders to support integrated testing and go-live activities
• Manage analyzer connectivity and end-to-end laboratory workflows, particularly for blood bank and microbiology operations

Required qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in hospital or clinical laboratory information systems (LIS) environments
• Proven experience in at least one full-lifecycle Epic clinical system implementation
• Strong understanding of complex laboratory environments and regulatory requirements
• Exceptional communication skills to bridge technical and operational teams
• Valid Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology certification preferred
