Epic Beaker Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Epic Beaker Analyst will analyze laboratory workflows, configure Epic Beaker functionalities, and support integration with external systems while collaborating with clinical teams and providing training to staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and configure laboratory workflows to optimize Epic Beaker functionalities and support integration with external systems
- Collaborate with lab leadership to gather requirements and document standardized procedures within the Epic framework
- Create and maintain documentation for workflows, training materials, and provide ongoing support during system upgrades and go-lives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Epic Beaker Certification and 2+ years of experience supporting Epic Beaker or a similar LIS
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and digital health workflows
- Experience with clinical laboratory operations and genetic testing workflows
- Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory compliance in healthcare IT
