Epic Beaker Application Analyst

Job Summary

Focusing on the Epic Laboratory Information System, the full-time Epic Beaker Application Analyst will serve as the primary support contact for Beaker Clinical Pathology and Anatomic Pathology, guiding workflow design, system build and testing, and addressing technical issues remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Guide workflow design and build processes for the Epic Laboratory Information System
• Analyze technical issues related to Epic applications and connected software
• Collaborate with project leadership and subject matter experts to ensure effective communication and workflow efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a license/certification in a clinical specialty, with varying years of experience depending on analyst level
• Active Epic certification in the required application/module at the time of hire for external applicants
• Familiarity with lab workflows, regulatory requirements, and HL7 interfaces
• Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in a hospital laboratory department is preferred
